The 3rd National ETF Elite Challenge Enters Zhongnan University of Economics and Law | Shenzhen Stock Exchange ETF Knowledge into Hundreds of Schools.

Experience the Charm of Investment with ETFs Together! The Shenzhen Stock Exchange's ETF Knowledge Promotion in 100 Universities is in Full Swing. On October 29, 2024, the "Third National ETF Elite Challenge" series of themed activities in 100 universities arrived at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, sharing the charm of ETF investment with faculty and students.

This event was hosted by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and organized by the School of Finance of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Eastmoney.com, and Yinhua Fund Management Co., Ltd. Attendees included Li Jianhua, Deputy Director of the School of Finance of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, Yang Jie, an expert from the Fund Management Department of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, Hu Dongjie, Regional Director of Yinhua Fund, Fang Guifei, Chief Market Strategy Analyst of Yinhua Fund, and Yu Haoyang, Hubei Regional Head of the Marketing Department of Eastmoney.com.

At the beginning of the event, Li Jianhua, Deputy Director of the School of Finance of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, welcomed the guests and said that ETFs, as an emerging investment tool, are gradually gaining attention from investors. By participating in the "Third National ETF Elite Challenge" guided by the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, students will have the opportunity to personally understand and experience the charm of ETF investment, stimulate their investment enthusiasm, and cultivate their innovative spirit and practical abilities. He also urged students to actively participate in the competition and apply the knowledge they have learned to real life, truly achieving the goal of learning for application.

During the guest lecture session, Yang Jie, an expert from the Fund Management Department of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange, delivered a lecture on "Introduction to the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's ETF Market and Key Products," introducing how ETFs make investment simpler, the status of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange's ETF market, and how ordinary investors can participate in ETF investment. After the lecture, each participant received a copy of "Q&A on ETF Investment at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange," compiled by the Fund Department of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. This book uses illustrated and easy-to-understand language to explain the concept, operation mechanism, and investment strategies of ETFs to the public, helping them quickly understand this investment tool.

Subsequently, Fang Guifei, Chief Market Strategy Analyst of Yinhua Fund, gave a lecture on "Macroeconomics and Equity Investment," professionally and vividly analyzing the relationship between the macroeconomy and stock markets of major world economies and elucidating the concept of rational investment, with a rational understanding of the relationship between investment risk and return.

Regarding the "Third National ETF Elite Challenge," Yu Haoyang, Hubei Regional Head of the Marketing Department of Eastmoney.com, also introduced the competition schedule, rules, registration methods, and rewards. He emphasized that outstanding students in the industry report section of the ETF competition will have the opportunity to obtain internships and employment positions at renowned fund companies.

Students who participated in the event expressed that after listening to the guest lectures, they had a deeper understanding of China's capital market, ETF products, and related investment knowledge. They are full of anticipation for the ETF competition and will take it seriously, hoping to achieve good results. 

ETFs, as inclusive financial instruments, have been recognized by more and more investors, with product sizes continuously reaching new highs. They facilitate investors to participate in the capital market at lower costs and higher efficiency, sharing the dividends of China's economic transformation and upgrading development. ETFs play an increasingly important role in residents' asset allocation and wealth management. 

The competition aims to guide ordinary investors to understand ETF investment knowledge through simulated investment, online videos, offline science popularization, and other methods, allowing participants to personally experience ETF investment operations and help them learn to use ETFs as a convenient and efficient investment tool. Overall, the competition presents the characteristic of "education through entertainment," allowing both investment beginners and experts to showcase their skills and participate in investment through ETFs.

 It is understood that since registration opened in September, the Third National ETF Elite Challenge has received widespread attention from all sectors of society. The competition officially started on October 21, 2024, and the overall competition duration is nearly three months. As of now, the number of registered participants has reached 220,000, with nearly 2,000 universities registered.
