Call for Papers for the 5th High-Level Forum on Carbon Neutrality and Climate Finance

The impacts of global climate change on socio-economic and financial systems are increasingly drawing widespread attention. Given the high level of uncertainty surrounding climate change shocks, they significantly affect financial and investment activities in China. Climate risks have become a crucial factor influencing the stability of China's financial system. Exploring climate risk issues under the strategy of building a financially strong nation has become a focal point of interest for scholars.

In order to facilitate broader and deeper discussions on this topic, the 5th High-Level Forum on Carbon Neutrality and Climate Finance, co-hosted by the Energy Finance Professional Committee of the International Society for Energy Transformation (ISETS) and the Climate Finance Research Subcommittee of the China Dual Law Research Association, will be held on April 27, 2024, in Wuhan. This event is organized by the School of Finance at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, with the support of the Innovative Introduction Base for Digital Technology and Modern Finance Discipline, the Carbon Trading and Carbon Finance Research Center at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, and the ESG Research Institute at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law. The forum will focus on discussions related to climate risks and building a financially strong nation. We cordially invite experts, scholars, and professionals from all sectors to actively submit papers and participate in the conference.
