Bob Reed教授1985年在美国西北大学获取博士学位，师从2010年诺贝尔经济学奖得主Dale T. Mortensen。曾经在美国Texas A&M University, the University of Texas at Austin和the University of Oklahoma任教。2006年至今为坎特伯雷大学商学院经济金融系教授。Bob Reed教授的研究领域在应用计量经济、公共财政金融和劳动经济学，曾在the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Labor Economics, the Journal of Urban Economics, China Economic Review等国际有影响力的期刊发表许多论文。

BRIEF BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION: Professor Reed received his Ph.D. from Northwestern University in 1985. His PhD supervisor was Dale T. Mortensen, winner of the Nobel Prize in economic science in 2010. He has taught in the USA at Texas A&M University, the University of Texas at Austin, and the University of Oklahoma. In 2006, he left the USA to take up a professorship at the University of Canterbury in New Zealand, where he currently lives and works. Professor Reed has published in the areas of applied econometrics,labor economics, public finance etc. His work has appeared in numerous professional journals, including the Journal of Political Economy, the Journal of Public Economics, the Journal of Labor Economics, the Journal of Urban Economics, China Economic Review, and many other journals.
